Greenore Golf Club was first opened in October 1896 with only 12 holes which later extended to 18 holes the year later.  This exceptional golf course was deemed to be one of 10 clubs in Ireland suitable for G.U.I interclub competition in 1900. Through various improvements and innovative expansions, Greenore Golf Club has grown to become a highly renowned and prevalent location to enjoy a leisurely round of golf or challenging competition.

Pro Shop

Greenore Golf Club has its own professional resident PGA, Robert Giles.  Robert has been a qualified professional since 1993.  As one of Ireland’s leading golfers and winner of PGA of Europe Championships on two occasions, Robert has excellent knowledge and experience.  With an excellent reputation, Robert offers exceptional coaching which is very popular amongst golfers of all abilities.  Robert also offers junior classes to assist junior golfers to achieve great success.  Greenore’s new Pro Shop offers all the essentials every golfer needs.  The Pro Shop offers some of the leading brands in equipment along with the latest fashionable golf apparel.     

Our practice area and driving range offers trolley, buggy and towel hire.   

Bar & Restaurant

At Greenore Golf Club, the restaurant and bar are open to both members and non-members.  The bar is the perfect setting to enjoy a quiet drink overlooking spectacular views of Carlingford Lough and the Cooley Mountains.  With friendly, welcoming staff, the restaurant is an exceptional setting offering a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy delicious food from an extensive menu; 4 course dinner, all-day breakfast and Super “Golfer’s Grill” are just a few of the tempting options to choose from the menu.
